Robert Quattlebaum I'm still waiting for Frank Peretti to publish another book.
Robert Quattlebaum I think the best thing is to continue writing. It doesn't have to be good because it can be edited or deleted later. It doesn't have to be long - just a paragraph or even a sentence. But sometimes the block is because of poor planning, or the story has gone off track. That's when it's time to step back and re-evaluate whether the story needs changes, or to be abandoned.
Robert Quattlebaum I don't know if I've discovered the "best thing" yet. It's rewarding to hear that people enjoyed my story

Robert Quattlebaum I'm working on a modern interpretation of the Biblical book of Job. What would happen if the richest man in the eastern U.S., a follower of God, suddenly had everything yanked away from him?
Robert Quattlebaum Ideas pop into my head all the time, and I like writing them down. My inspiration comes from within.
Robert Quattlebaum I never intended to be a writer, although I've loved reading since childhood. The idea for my book literally popped into my head one day about ten years into an IT career. I sat down and started to write, and it just flowed from there. I know it's cliche, but I truly believe the story came from God.
