Ruth Mwongeli David I let it fester for as long as I can(sometimes hours, sometimes days) then take out my notebook and doodle.
Ruth Mwongeli David I love telling stories, i am also an introvert and i love that i can get lost in my writing. When writing By Dint of Love, i felt like i knew the characters, i would be sad when they were sad and be happy when they were happy. As weird as it sounds, they became my friends. I love that about writing, that you can get sucked into someone else's' life, someone that you created.
Ruth Mwongeli David Just write. Do not let that idea keep swirling around in your head.
Ruth Mwongeli David I am working on my second novel, I am also writing a pre teen book which is aimed at creating awareness about bullying which has become rampant here in Kenya
Ruth Mwongeli David From society, from women who have gone through the same experiences that I have, from my daughter because i want her to learn through my experiences and if im not here to tell her myself, she can read the books i have written.
Ruth Mwongeli David I got this idea some 20 years back, I stopped writing for a while and when I recently went back to it, the story got a life of its own, and i started pulling the plot from my past experiences.
