Haha, no. I'm a romance writer. If I tried writing horror, I would probably scare myself to death.

I got an advice from a reader once, and it's the best I'd ever received. He said: "I always tell my PHD students that they should write every day - that's the best way of improving your stories."
And he's right! I tried and it works. I write a lot faster today than I did a year ago, and the writing comes easier and easier.

Being creative and play around with words. I love that :-) And I also adore being able to put some of the things that I know into my books, and the best of all: to surprise the reader when they expect a certain outcome :-)

I read a lot. And sometimes I get so annoyed by how the author mess up the plot, that I start writing my personal version - and it turns into something that can actually be posted online :-)
