Marco May Why I choose the wrong men who initially appear to be the right ones.
Marco May I'm always working on a story, and I often write and edit different stories at the same time. Because I usually write shorter works, I tend to have even more to put out.
Marco May Honestly, as simple as the answer may be, I got the idea for THE SIR straight from my creative mind. For years, I've wanted to write an erotic story involving a cross-generation couple with a wide age gap. I just never dared to because I wasn't sure if it was something very many readers would be into. However, I decided to go for it and do the best I can, and I'm glad I did it. It was quite the experience even if it's not something I'll write often. I like to experiment with writing different stories to see how my writing fits into what genre or subgenre.
Marco May First of all, I don't believe in "aspiring writers" because they are writers. As long as you've written some form of story, you're a writer. That said, my advice is never to give up even when you lack confidence in your writing. You really do improve the more you write, and definitely read a lot of books to help improve and gain inspiration.
Marco May I gain inspiration from reading books, watching the occasional TV show, chatting with people about writing, and participating in NaNoWriMo whenever I can. Creativity comes naturally for me, so I'm easily inspired by little things here and there.
Marco May The best thing about being a writer is that I get to create my own stories full of various characters living their own lives. I get to create worlds to give my characters somewhere to live in. I get to unleash the creativity that comes naturally for me.
Marco May I gain inspiration from any way I can, be it by reading a book or watching the occasional TV show. Whenever I chat with someone about my stories and writing in general, that also tends to inspire me. All of these methods of inspiration have helped me overcome writer's block. Participating in NaNoWriMo is also another good method because you can write whatever you feel like it until you reach 50K words, and there's bound to be inspiration somewhere deep in that project.
