Not seeing myself in fantasy that everyone over hyped.
I wanted to see more brown skin in fantasy and cosmic horror. I wanted to see someone that looks like me doing things I loved reading /in/ fantasy. Romance, murder, magic, living as a King, being/becoming gods-- the whole shebang.
It's honestly what drives me the hardest when it comes to any project, really.
But this idea came from several years of restarts and giving up on the idea of not knowing very much when I couldn't do proper research. It came from the idea of "What if x had a dirty habit and magic?" And the rest was history.

It's a combination of what is happening around me and video games. Sometimes just listening to a video game soundtrack or watching a boss fight really gets me excited to write something.
