I know the answer may sound a bit clichéd, but 'writing' is the only way of overcoming writer's block. On a less-productive day, I just start by writing down whatever comes to my mind. The process kind of acts as a therapy and helps me to focus. I can then just switch back to my drafts and continue working on my books.
