A lot of things give me inspiration. Sometimes I have a really weird dream that is so vivid I wake up and write it down. Sometimes, it's something I hear someone say in a passing conversation. Sometimes, it comes from a real life situation and sometimes it comes from hearing stories from a documentary about real-life situations. All of these things can spur on imagination and a good story.

The door was locked. She wasn't sure how to escape, time was running out. She looked up and saw the ledge to the upper window and had to get up to it somehow. As she climbs, she sees him coming toward her with the gun and it's aimed right at her.

I'm not sure about a fictional world, but I'd really love to spend a week or two in Hawaii.

I'm thinking about writing a sequel to Walking the Crimson Road, because the ending leaves you with the idea that there could be more. I also have 3 other book ideas floating around in my head.
