I'll often take a break, maybe spend some time working on another project. If I'm in the middle of a project and am really stuck, I'll make a note such as 'write big fight scene here' and then move on so at least I can keep going. By the time I'm finished with the project, I usually have some ideas on what to write in that TBD scene.

Hi Mary! I had to wait until my publisher got the sequel up on GoodReads, but now it's listed and Gold Spun is denoted as Book 1. :)

Creating and sharing stories. Making magic real. Being able to do so in my pajamas is also a plus.

The sequel to Gold Spun. I also have a play in the works when theatres start to reopen. And there is one or two other manuscripts that are WIP pieces. I like to stay busy!

Keep writing and build your tribe. You are never too 'fill-in-the-blank' to write. You aren't too old or too inexperienced or too whatever. The more you write, the better you become at writing. And build your community of writing friends. Mine encourage me to keep writing. They celebrate my victories with me and support me when I get rejected. And as a writer, I deal with a lot of rejection, so it's important to be persistent.
