I'm currently working on the fourth book in The West Side series. It's Jason's story. He's a cancer survivor, and it's more of a look at how the fight against cancer continues long after words like remission are used.
I'm editing Walk the Dog based on initial beta feedback. It's third in the series, and it's Delilah's story. Walk the Dog is a full body yoga pose, and Delilah, and the single Dad she falls for, must find the balance of caring for parents, themselves, and his young daughter. It's more of a comedy with a bit of a serious look at managing expectations and increasing responsibilities and the ongoing effort to find balance.

The first book stems from more of the "what if" question that has percolated since my Chapel Hill days. What if two exes reunited again years later? How would that work? When I first moved to NYC after college, some of my closest friends were all Chapel Hill grads too. We weren't close (or in some cases, didn't even know each other) but we bonded and became close all through our twenties. Nothing in the West Side series is based on that set of friends as it's complete fiction, but it's more the idea of a set of friends creating their own tribe in a big city and finding their way through their twenties.
