Writers should write. It's better to write about something you know about, than it is to try to write on a subject you know nothing. EVERY subject has some interesting point of view that you can bring to your readers.

I don't need inspiration for most of what I write. I love to write. I choose a subject and then write. I always have several short writing projects going, so if I do get stuck on the book, I stop and work on something else for a day or two.
