Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Andi Burns I was driving to Starbucks to work on a totally different book. Anyway, I saw this guy in the car next to me--all floppy hair and glasses and rolled up sleeves. I immediately pegged him as a sexy nerd type. I wondered where he was headed off to. So then I thought. I'll be he's crushing hard on somebody he works with... And then I got to Starbucks, abandoned my WIP, and started Simon and Elaine's story.
