Simpson Munro When you are writing and the unexpected happens and it is a "wow, where did that come from" moment.

Simpson Munro Believe in yourself. You will get praise and criticism but don't let the latter get you down as a first time writer, listen to those that know better. Everyday is a schoolday.

What are you currently working on?
Simpson Munro Probably the last book in the Andy Blackmore series of 5 books. Then again who knows !

How do you get inspired to write?
Simpson Munro After the birth of Andy Blackmore, Police Constable, everything just seemed to fall into place and one book followed the other. I just asked a former police officer for assistance and I was never short of a crime to create into a story.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Simpson Munro I have a lot of friends in the emergency services and it was through them that Andy Blackmore, Police Constable was born.
