Mary Morrison Like most people these days, I get very upset about the stupidity of people on the "other side." Generally this relates to politics, vaccines, covid tests, protests, etc. I don't remember feeling this depth of emotion about these things since I was a young person in the 1960's and early 70's. Of course there are two sides to everything, and it might be interesting to explore dynamics in a family or group of friends, and how these external stressors can rupture perfectly good relationships. Can we just turn everything off and avoid the outside world, or is it better to stay engaged and try to change things?
Mary Morrison I've always been interested in writing and was a journalism major in college before I switched to the more "practical" major of nursing. I grew up with print journalism and the rapid switch to digital befuddled me. Just don't wait till you're 68, like me, to publish your first book! But it's never too late!
Mary Morrison Looking for the Lioness is about the first half of my year spent volunteering in Africa. There's more to come!
