A vampire trilogy known as "Mystique". The first book is "A Bitten Past" which will follow another two books.
It's about a 26 year old female vampire who tries to have a normal life with her vampire sister while trying to find answers about her past. She is hard headed, over confident and stubborn and this proves dangerous when her sister disappears.
It's a story mainly about protection, love, forgiveness and strength in different aspects and it takes different forms within the story (and will continue throughout.)

This is tricky... with a job and family issues and just life in general it can be hard to find the time and inspiration to write. However, I find listening to music really helps me. A sad song will inspire a sad scene, an upbeat fast paced song will have a whirlwind action scene racing through my head ! I also look at art, or read other books for inspiration. Sharing creativity can aid in growing our own minds and skills.

I have always loved vampires... So I just thought I would write my own. I had a scene in my head and could not get rid of it, so I started writing this story. However it began as a stereo typical story of a teenage vampire who went to school and after a while I scrapped it, and started again. I wanted complex characters with issues and real life problems... so I made my characters adults and realised they had more responsibilities and so more problems to deal with... This is how my story was born!
