I am currently in the process of penning book six, Dragon's Cry. It should be finished by the end of this month sometime and in edit for the next. Expect to see it hit the shelves sometime in March. Dragon's cry expands on the strange little shop the gang wandered into in downtown Bitterroot at the end of the last two books, actually. Sadie tells this story from her POV...and you'll see the return of all your favorite characters...So far, it's been a very easy story to tell and I really look forward to sharing it with my readers...

There is absolutely more romance on the horizon for Juli and Jack...his taste for adventure...her inability to stay out of trouble? As the series develops, and grows, so will there feelings for each other...who's to say? Perhaps there will be wedding bells...eventually.

Currently there are five published in the series, and a sixth that is in edit and will come out the beginning of January. I plan to have a minimum of 9 in the series before I have to ask myself the writer, the characters that live on the page, and you the readers if you would like to see it continue to grow...

Well, spoiler alert...I can't say too much without giving the story itself away...but this one came down to the world building. Cauliflower Kale Caper takes place at Jack Lovelace's Family Resort on the shore of Lake Superior outside Veil Falls...When I was creating the hand drawn map, I needed a cool place that people would want to vacation at...that I want to visit because it's so COOL! Well, and of course, what's a nifty resort in the woods without murder?

I don't know. Some writers say they keep a notebook and jot things down while they are out, next to their bed, etc. I don't do any of that. I guess I start my Series thinking about if...If I wanted to be the hero/heroine and go on an adventure...where would I go...who would I be...why would I be unforgettable...what flaws would I have...And then after the first book, my characters come to life and write the rest of the series for me...

I am currently working on Cauliflower Kale Caper, Book III in the Snips and Snails Series. It should be out in April. I will be working soon on the next installment in the Rule 9 Academy Series as well. That should be out in June. Of Course, that's providing live goes according to plan. lol.

Wow. That's a tough one. This is a no frills business and it's HARD. I'm an indie and I could write a 500 page book easy on just what I've learned in a year. In a nutshell? Stalk author's sites like FB page 20books to 50k...Run by Craig Martelle...he is the absolute bomb. Set a schedule you can maintain to get the words down. Write three in a series to market before you even think about spending big bucks on marketing. Sign up to Bookfunnel, it rocks, even the free version. Start a Newsletter, Mailerlite is a great email service. Don't skimp on Great Covers...First thing readers see...That will get you started...

I have a wicked cool boss! Actually, she's a bit of a tyrant, always pushing and prodding me to work more hours and produce more than I should. But i sure do like being able to take it with me anywhere I go...It's pretty awesome.

I refuse to give into the allure of excepting excuses from myself. Like most, I have days where I can write anything, anywhere. Other days, I'm busy with grandkids or life bogs me down. There is a lot out there in the world right now I could let depress me if I allowed it. Still, I sit at the seat, force the first sentence, and then the next...and it comes...always. I can go back and edit garbage into that diamond...I can't fix blank.
