Michelle Halliwell I have never had writer's block. I would say to just force yourself to write without the expectation of it being good. Eventually you will revive the muse.
Michelle Halliwell For me personally, I have loved curling up with books since I was very little. I have always wrote and always loved it. When anyone reads my book, I feel inspired. You are supporting someone to earn a living doing her favorite thing. That's happiness.
Michelle Halliwell Read some of the books about writing that I will or have reviewed on my goodreads page, especially books by Robert McKee. He is responsible for a lot of our time's great screenwriting. He trains the best screenwriters so that is a good place for you to start, even if you are a novelist.

Write because you love it. It takes countless hours (some say at least 10,000) to become good at writing. It is a complex activity that requires a constellation of different skills. Work on your skills and practice. When your work isn't good, just keep working. Only love can sustain one through the journey that it takes to even start getting paid in this business.
Michelle Halliwell I have two ideas, both are very different from the Butterfly Miracle.
Michelle Halliwell I try to open up a space inside of me. Saying a rosary then sitting silently for ten minutes does the trick. You are looking for that clear feeling of emptiness that you get when looking up at the stars. That is when I am ready to create.
