By reading. I am in awe of the stories that come together in people's imaginations. Also, by my readers telling me they loved a story-that makes me want to give them another one.

Editing The Eleventh Hour Errand (coming soon) and plotting the book after that. And trying to nail down advertising, marketing, etc. Which is not easy for me. I just want to write and hand all of that off to someone else!

Read a ton! Start plotting then put it on paper-you have to just start somewhere. Be open to constructive criticism. Keep at it.

I rarely have it. I have the opposite problem. I just write and write and write far too much. As in conversation, sometimes less is more.
