Hi Susan,
I've thought about a sequel but haven't come up with anything that could sustain the energy of the first novel. What made it exciting to me as an author (and I think readers, too), is the sense of discovery and adaptation. By the end, Emily is fully realized, empowered and adapted to her new circumstances. Continuations I've thought about just seem like period dramas and wouldn't have the same zing. But a eureka moment may come. When it does, I'll write the follow-up.
