K.M. Bishop The book I just wrote for NaNoWriMo this year was inspired by an episode of Lore which is one of my favorite podcasts! It was an episode on werewolves and different cultures' ways of 'dealing' with them or figuring out who is one.
K.M. Bishop Currently, I am working of editing a few finished manuscripts. I often jump from one finished story to the next without tweaking things that need tweaking. So right now, I am trying to slow down and get back to some of my neglected manuscripts in hopes of getting them published.
K.M. Bishop There are a few ways I deal with writer’s block. Mostly, it involves walking away and focusing on something else for a little while. I like to go for a walk, exercise, do something around the house that needed to get done, or distract myself by reading a book. If the writer’s block is more severe and I have actually lost where I was trying to go with my story, I will read what I have so I can reassess what I as trying to say.
K.M. Bishop I checked all of the doors and windows before going to bed, convinced tonight would be the night he would come after me. I hadn’t, however, planned on him already hiding in the attic.
K.M. Bishop I am looking forward to rereading Persuasion by Jane Austen this summer. Jane Austen is my favorite author and I recently wrote a novel (not yet published) loosely inspired by this book.
