It's not really a problem if you know you're going to write every day. I always do a little outline when I'm finished writing for the day. Some authors don't like outlines, but my work is so much better when I have one. I often ignore them anyway, but they're there when I need them.

I personally like to revise. The first draft is easy for me. I can write one in three to six months, but revision takes me years. I also like to work with editors, free lance right now. They make me so mad, but once I get to thinking about what they recommend, it gives me an "I'll show him/her" attitude.

Write every day. You will be thinking about what you're writing all the time if you do. I also do a lot of walking and carry a digital tape recorder. Once you get going, ideas come pouring out.
