I got fired from a job I was working and a bunch of emotions boiled up. It was an interesting situation that pushed me to seek clarity. The best way I saw to achieve this clarity was to write it out. The fruits of those contemplations can be seen in my book Millennial Philosophy: Thoughts Expanded.

I would tell them to present their story the way they feel it needs to be told. All too often I hear about authors who try to tailor their tales to a publisher's tune. Present your story to those you feel will gain value. Someone needs your story!
