For my most recent book, The Candidate, I had a vivid image of the opening scene playing over in my mind after using Rory's Story Cubes as a writing prompt. The idea was so striking that the opening scene was the easiest scene in the story to write. Keep your eye's peeled because I plan on sharing the prologue over on my blog for everyone to read.
