I finished "The Plagues" several years ago and started the sequel shortly after. Then I ran into a wall. For months it sat untouched. Occasionally I would open it and try to continue but after a few hundred words, I set it aside, Then I started "The Wormwood Letters" and that soon became a painful task. Each letter became more difficult than the previous one until I finally stopped. Then, after a lot of prayer, I accepted that the Wormwood Letters was complete. I added an epilogue and published it.
Now I have gone back to the sequel to The Plagues and I have been making good progress, I hope to publish it this fall.

Reading "The Screwtape Letters" made me wonder how the evil enemy is working on people today. There has been so much technology change since C.S. Lewis wrote his book that I decided to write an updated set of letters. Screwtape's understudy, Wormwood, is now in charge and is coaching his new tempter to work on a young American male.
