C.O. Valt I decided to write a book outside of my series in hopes people would enjoy my writing style and want to read more. My series deals with the heavy topic of child abuse and sadly that scares some people. I will say, although the topic of my series is a heavy topic, I do not give graphic details of abuse that people would not be able to handle. The reader does not have to worry about reading horrific details of abuse. I write in a way that the reader knows what happens and feels the emotions, but doesn't read unnecessary details.
C.O. Valt I have always had stories in my head and wanted to write a book. In October 2019, a family crisis caused me to need something focus on so that my mind would relax. I decided to write my first book. It was my therapy. Now, I write my series in hopes people will talk about abuse openly and we can stop hiding the issue and start finding a solution.
C.O. Valt I am working on the third book in my series, For the Children With Love. This series is about a social worker who is tired of people hurting children and decides she might need to take matters into her own hands. Readers follow her journey to find justice for the innocent. I am also working on another book titled (maybe), Taking Back What's Mine, about a woman who loses everything and decides to get it all back.
C.O. Valt Do it! Believe in yourself and start writing. We all figure things out as we go and there is so much information available that it can be overwhelming. Just write, write more, and keep writing.
C.O. Valt I love telling stories. I also love bringing important subjects out in the open and the ability to get people talking about important subjects. Writing is relaxing to me and helps me balance my life.
C.O. Valt I do not have this problem. I have a constant stream of ideas in my head and it is wonderful when I have the time to write and get things out of my head. I am currently working on two books and the entire story for both is done in my head (now to get it on paper). I have several more stories ready to write, but need to finish a few first. Is there such a thing as thinkers block? I'd like to have that and turn my mind off, but I can't.
C.O. Valt I'm a crazy Twilight fan and would love to live in Forks with the vampires.
C.O. Valt I am always looking for great books to read. I tend to like mysteries or crime drama's the most. I am hoping to become an editor and read books written by new authors, before they are published. I also wait (somewhat patiently) for the newest release of Linda Castillo every July.
