Hmm that's a good question! I would have to say my own family history could be a plot for a book. I don't know much about my ancestry, so it would be interesting to research and turn it into a mystery novel.

Right now, I'm working on a murder mystery, which is an entirely new territory for my paranormal and romance-minded brain. Though this story has some romantic suspense elements, it is a very different process.

I don't normally struggle with writer’s block unless I take a long break from writing, and being in college, that is often the case when schoolwork piles up. One way I try to avoid this is by writing a sentence or two every day just to keep my mind working and alive in the fictional universe.

It could be anything from a single word to a feeling I get that I want to dig deeper into. Most of the time I see something or hear a word said a certain way, and a character forms around that one word... what they look like, their story, whether or not they have a "past." It never happens the same way, though, and I think that's the best part. You never know what might spark the plot of your next story.

Believe in yourself. If you don't, how the hell can you expect anyone else to?

Uhm I would for sure be visiting Patch Cipriano in the Hush Hush universe. Ooh, or Fang from Maximum Ride. That's a toss up. Twelve year old me would pick Fang, but fifteen year old me would be Patch all the way.

I've mostly focused on writing and editing this summer, but I am currently reading Fate, Fame, and the First Kiss by Kasie West. It's so lighthearted and enjoyable. Fun Fact: Kasie West is the author who really got me INTO reading romance. On the Fence. LOVE THAT BOOK. **a million heart emoji's**

There's this sort of magic about writing that I love. You're creating characters and a world and their feelings... you're building someone's life and have the power to make it what you want. I love writing simply because it's pure, in a sense. You can't control the real world, you can't control how things turn out, or how you handle situations, but in fiction, the choice is yours. I choose to get lost in it.

Months before I wrote Remember December, I'd been wanting to write a story about celebrities. I'd tried so many different versions and none of them felt right. Until Carson James. Once I had him, the rest of the story finally fell into place
