I'm not sure, but I've had the idea for a princess falling in love with her bodyguard for over ten years now! As a little kid, I made up romance stories in my head, typically featuring royalty, to help me fall asleep. The Guard of Adriane comes out November 30th! (2023 for future reference, lol)

The best thing about being a writer is being able to explore your imagination. In addition, it's super cool to finally turn these daydreams I've had for over a decade into stories or be inspired by their settings/themes and turn that into a novel.
