Hi Anna!
At the moment, there isn't any plans for Stoneridge Shadows to go into audio. This is because another company produces and distributes the audio books and unfortunately Stoneridge Shadows hasn't been popular enough for them to be able to take it on. It's not completely off the table, but sales would need to increase significantly before they'd do it I think. So sorry.

Hi Lexie! Yes! The plan for next year is to write Sean's story (Stoneridge Dragons) and then there will be either a book or a duet for Abby and the boys. I'm toying with the title Stoneridge Cursed. I was a bit apprehensive about it because it would involve writing something set in the future, but I think I've figured it out.

Hi Sam! Sooooooo, there is going to be a part 3 and 4, but I haven't written them yet. It's probably going to be 2024. I had to swap some things around in my schedule, and this project unfortunately got moved back. But it's definitely coming! (also, the covers are beautiful, and I can't wait to show them to everyone) 😉

Generally, the mysteries in my life tend to lean towards, who drank the last of the wine or who raided my secret snack drawer (spoiler, the husband did it!) I'm not sure either of those would make for a very interesting book, though.

Personally, if I get stuck on a particular chapter I skip ahead and keep writing from a point further on in the book and then come back to it in the second draft. I think if you get to a point where you seriously feel like you have no idea what the next word is going to be, then sitting and staring at the screen is the worst thing that you can do. If it's actually starting or not knowing what story to write then I think you need to go back and do more world building. If you put enough into this part it makes the writing a lot easier.

Creating another world and letting other people fall into it with you. It's also really amazing when someone takes the time to write a review and you realise that someone not only read your book, but actually liked it.

Just write! So many people ask how to be a writer, how to get into writing or some other variation of the same question. It's easy, just pick up a pen or open up your computer and start writing. If you're struggling with an idea or you think that you need more practice before diving into the project of writing a novel (and it is a massive project) then I do have some tips to help. Try starting a journal. If you look on pinterest or just google you can find tonnes of journal prompts. Do one a day to give you a prompt to write something that you wouldn't normal think of. Or, go onto the writing prompts thread on reddit. There are so many ideas on there for short stories. You can have a go and upload your story and people will beta read it and give you tips. Some people may be brutally honest but if you want to get your book traditionally published you are going to need to learn how to take the criticism. I personally have a small cry and then eat my body weight in chocolate :)

I'm currently working on the second book in the Destiny Series. I've also got another series that I'm currently world building and have started writing some of the first book for that one as well.

Sometimes it is the last thing that I want to do. I tend to find that once I get started I get into the flow and I find it quite easy. If it isn't coming to me then I find it better to just walk away and have a cup of tea, then come back to it. It helps if you are really excited about what you are writing. Sometimes I'll go back and started reading the book from the beginning to get me into it again. It helps me remember what I love about the story and also proof read what I've already done at the same time.

I wanted to write something with a strong female character and I knew that I wanted it to be a bit different than everything else that seemed to be coming out at the time. I can't give too many details without giving too much away but I think that ideas just kind of percolate over time. One of my next projects in the works came from just the opening line coming to me and is slowly developing into a whole story. There is a lot for me to do before you get to see that one though :)
