NACL: Eye of the Storm which is coming out September 17th 2020, was written in a haze of saltiness and fury. My lovely co-author E. Sands and I were very salty about something that happened, so we wrote a novel about angry pirates blowing up an actual mountain made of salt. It turned out to be a really fun ride. We are now marginally less salty. (This might have something to do with the 524 usages of the word fuck in the first raft of this book. Sometimes, writing a sentence entirely in swear words is exactly the catharsis required. Also what a character needs to vent her frustrations).

This summer I am leading a group for the Indie Fantasy Addicts summer reading challenge. I'm also part of SPFBO6, so my goal is to read as much indie fantasy as possible, especially members of SPFBO6 and the IFA Author group. I want to try to support the amazing community I find myself a part of. My only exceptions will be series I have already started and that have books coming out soon.

The sequel to "Where Shadows Lie" is my epic fantasy boulder of a WIP, which is getting some shiny new characters and currently undergoing some pretty major plot restructuring. Current Status: 15% complete
"NACL: Eye of the Storm" is an Arcanepunk Science-Fantasy pirate adventure, in the same universe of the Last Gift. It's an high-octane, non-stop, very adult romp through a world where salt is the most precious of commodities, and one corporation controls it all. Current Status; in edits.
"A Seduction of Ghosts" is a Fae Romance, and the first book of The Mountain Ring, a new and exciting co-authored world full of magic, strange creatures, and epic love stories. Current Status: in rewrites.
"For the love of Garlic" is a magical realism romance novel about food witches in Florence during the black death. It's a side project, but one I am quite passionate about and is still coming together. Current Status: Amoeba of ideas and words.
