Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kereen Getten I wanted to write about friendship and how important it can be when you are young, but I was inspired by the town I was born in. It seemed the perfect backdrop for my story.

How do you get inspired to write?

Kereen Getten I watch movies, read books I love. Sometimes it's a sentence that inspires me, sometimes it's a character, a setting or a feeling.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kereen Getten Write, write and write some more. When you feel sad, write, when you feel happy, write. Make writing a habit, and keep your eye on your own path, don't be distracted by what other people are doing.
