Craig Jordan-Baker Hello there Rae and thanks very much for the question. Currently I'm reading Lovecraft (sigh), Merleau Ponty (slow and satisfying) and am reading papers relating to the locus amoenus for a paper I'm writing.

To answer your question: Target an indie you like and show the people there you have read at least some of the work they have published. Very often indies get approached from authors who have not engaged with what they do, and this puts small publishers right off. Obviously this does not quite apply to major publishers.

If you fancy, pop along to this event. Me and Bea I'm sure would be happy to have a chat with you.

Craig Jordan-Baker I would go to Solaris. I would ask the same questions as everyone else and I would get the same answers as everyone else (none). I would know all this in advance, but we can only approach the non-human in a human way.
