I take Julia Cameron's advice and take myself on an artist date: a museum, a lovely park, a cup of tea in a lovely hotel. I'm heavily inspired by my surroundings so my kitchen table only gets me so far ... but I'm lucky. I don't get writer's block that often.

I'm halfway through a romance about Honor, who is the long-suffering wife of Jackson James in Parents and Teachers (he's a serial cheater). This time, Honor gets her own love affair! It's glamorous and full of heart and the action (pun intended) moves between Notting Hill and the South of France. Mmmm....

I'm feeling VERY motivated to write a book in time for Christmas. I don't know why I'm feeling so Christmassy so early this year! I think it's going to be set in a gorgeous hotel over the holidays ... nothing makes me happier than seeing places decorated for Christmas.
