Chris Whyatt Absolutely the Discworld... to have a beer with Captain Sam Vines (or a beetroot juice) and to spend a night watch with Fred and Nobby.
Chris Whyatt The Awful Truth About The Rose... Marco Ocram

The Vile Realm... Jon Hillman

With writing commitments I can't really look much further than that at the moment.
Chris Whyatt I used to just sit there staring at the screen thinking something would come to me out of the blue, but soon realised - as well as wasting huge chunks of time - it actually makes things worse. Now I go for a walk, look around, jot stuff down. When I wake up in the night after a strange dream, I get out of bed and jot down the details while I still remember. Some of my best ideas came to me doing menial chores like washing up, cleaning windows, anything that doesn't require full attention. Your imagination will wander.
Chris Whyatt Writing.

Closely followed by a great review... if you are lucky enough for it to ever happen.
Chris Whyatt Self publishing is great as it gives anybody the chance to get their work published, but think very, very, carefully before uploading that manuscript. If it is not professionally edited, or at least looked over by a handful of different people, you are taking a huge risk. Amazon will pretty much publish anything with just a quick spell-check and format conversion. Make sure you are ready!
Chris Whyatt Trying to tidy up my Goodreads profile because there is a lot of old stuff that shouldn't be on here... very frustrating. Good reviews are being misplaced! I am also waiting for the re-working of my first humorous fantasy novel 'SVELT' to be officially published by Austin Macauley, and re-editing the sequels in the series in readiness.
Chris Whyatt I used to love writing as a kid, but football and other stuff took over. A couple of years ago I read about the Kindle Storyteller competition in 'Metro' and thought I'd have a go. I'm so glad I did too ... my story was completely and utterly ignored and overlooked... motivation.
