Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Elis Angelico Graffiti is inescapable in São Paulo. It is everywhere. When I moved back in 2010, I became enamored with the graphic and unapologetic public expression of resistence and art. In early 2018 I signed up for a free class on graffiti and shortly after that time started writing romance novels. At the same time, my best friend was making the conscious decision not to have children and dealing with all the internal/external ramifications of that. Between living in São Paulo, her life experience and me picking up a spray can, Luci and Rafa were born.
