I publish a book every three weeks...so I don't have time for it! If I'm stuck, I stop and jot down some notes about where we're going next and where we want to end up. But somehow, my characters always seem to know what they want!

Never give up! I wrote my first book in 1995 and didn't land my literary agent until 2009. I got my first traditional book deal in 2011...and launched this indie romance venture in 2020. It took me a while to become a full-time novelist, but I finally made it!

Finishing up my Christmas series, and then I get to start planning my early 2023 series, which will be either a corporate retreat on a ranch or a spa on a ranch.

For my Lights, Camera, Christmas! series, I was following a couple of cable Christmas movie actors on Instagram...and in their stories, they share behind the scenes on the set. I was fascinated that they shoot these movies in just a couple of weeks...and that they shoot them in the late summer/early fall. I started thinking about a way I could combine cowboys with cable Christmas movies...and the series was born!
