My currant work is Crab Tree Hill, it will be another Sci-Fi Fantasy, though not an Epic- or a Fable like Pepo is. I also write short stories and will build a collection of them for publication eventually. I have a list of books to write.

Try it out. It's not for everyone. Many hobbies come and go in life and for some writing is one of them. Some people think they want to be a writer but they are not motivated to stick with it. There are a couple kinds of writers, those who MUST write because something inside them drives them to, and those who can only feel inspired when they have regular encouragement, feedback or input. The only way you can know if you are truly meant to be a writer is to try it out and see how it fits. If you find that you ARE meant to be a writer, but you struggle all the time? Welcome to being a writer.

When stuck with writers block, take time for other area's of the writing process. Such as, are there back stories to refine? Scan your plots for holes, look for important details that might be missing, see if you you've addressed important questions and the mechanisms of the story. That will often open up the flow of writing again. If that doesn't work, write on something else. A short story is always helpful, it keeps you writing. And if that doesn't help either, then it could be your subconscious telling you that it's stressed about another issue in your life and until that is addressed, it's not safe to write. We are complicated humans that way, survival is paramount. If something is stressing us and we're not dealing with it, it can affect our work. Take time for life, and then write.
