Whenever I feel like I am at a standstill I step away from whatever I am working on. There may be something else that is speaking to me at that moment so I will switch gears and work on that until I am able to go back to the previous project.

Follow your heart. Sometimes we can be our own worst critic and that can be hindering. If you have a story in your heart put it out there. Then research all your options as far as publishing. Be ready to put in the work that comes with writing, because there is a lot of things that come along with being an author. It doesn't stop at writing the story.

I recently completed a summer novella that ended with a twist. Those characters have not finished telling their story so that is what I'm working on.

A lot of my inspiration comes from music, because there are songs that speak to me and when that happens I put pen to paper.

My recent book is the continuation of my first book. The idea initially came to me about three or four years ago and I just took the ideas that I already had on paper and made it into what it is. It was also helpful that the characters started speaking to me again.
