The legend of Jack the Ripper I guess. I was looking for something around his time that had remained unsolved but offered me the opportunity to research that period in Whitechapel and create a readable, truthful account of a murder that even today is still a puzzle.

Good question. I search around for an interesting story. Ideally, in my world of True Crime, something that has never been solved. A puzzle if you like, something I can explore and research and find a solution - not always the right one but one which offers answers.
