I love your use of "caustic wit" to describe the writing in Mr. Seeroi's book. Are there other books whose writing style you would describe in the same way?
Joe Palermo I'm reading a book now called "Gatecrasher" that I would also describe that way.

How did you get interested in Japan?
Joe Palermo I had a professor in college who had been around the world 20+ times and he always talked about his experiences in Japan. I studied the history and culture of Japan under him and I really had a desire to go there. I visited 3 separate times before moving there right out of college. My goal was to live there one year, but that turned into eight years!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Joe Palermo I put together an Excel spreadsheet to organize ideas and attack them one at a time.
