Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Latesha Kellam I got the idea for my most recent book from some events that occurred in my actual life. I thought instead of crying about what happened, why not use these events to actually help somebody else who may be going through the same thing.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Latesha Kellam My advice for aspiring writers is to don't be afraid to start your story. You will be surprised at how much of the story is already in you once you start getting those words on the pages. Let your inspiration lead the way.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Latesha Kellam I deal with my writer's block by stepping back and taking a break from the story for a while. It's seems like every once and a while you just need a moment to recharge and then the words will start pouring in again.
