(view spoiler)[I first had this vision, of a sort, in my head of the opening scene to a movie. The Heroine walks outside of her home to feed her farm chickens when she spots a flash of white in the coop. A large dog was attacking her chickens. This scene evolved into the way Elizabeth got bitten, turning her into a werewolf as well. So many times I tried to start this book with that scene, but it never worked out. It was only after I changed the first chapter that I was able to finish it. (hide spoiler)]

My friend and I are using Booksy to find deals on books and reading them together. Currently, we are reading The Royal Trilogy by Godiva Glenn.

This is hard. For me, I usually listen to music. Sometimes I have to force myself to write something, anything! But what helps a lot too is my husband. We will talk about what happens next and really invigorate me! Gets new excited to write again.

The flexible hours are both a blessing and a curse. The main thing for me is being there for my kids. They get sick and need to stay home from school? I work from home! I can write wherever I go; on vacation, on a plane,in the bathtub, anywhere!

I don't know how to explain it. I guess you can say I daydreamed Elizabeth getting attacked. It was so vivid, like watching the opening scene of a movie. For a long time I tried to make the scene the start of the book, but I always lost interest . It wasn't until I changed things around did I actually finally get it finished. Its published now, but that scene is still vivid as ever!

I would probably travel to the world if Pern. I'd try my hand at imprinting a dragon, or at least a few fire lizards. Worst come to worst, I'd probably be a herdsman with herd beasts and runners. It'd be great to be able to ride horse-like creatures without braking out in hives.

The house had been abandoned for over thirty years. The little girl staring at you said otherwise.
