As for now, those two are it. I don't have any plans to continue their story.

I'l have to check on the website. The first book does not end on a cliffhanger but the second book is just a continuing of their story.

Usually, the first thing that comes to me is the character's name. It's like the introduce themselves and their story comes from there.

Accept that you are your own worst critic. You are going to rip your work apart more than anyone else. And you have to learn to step back and let the story flow and worry about rewrites and such later. The first draft is never perfect. That's why it's the first draft.

Creating words and characters. Bringing to life a story you would want to read and hoping someone else will enjoy reading it.

Game Of Thrones. My girl Daenerys Targaryen needs someone to advice her on her love life. Like stay away from Jon Snow. Also, I want to ride a dragon. And Jamie could do with some series Dr. Phil sort of 'boy get it together' advice and stick with Brienne. All kidding aside, I love the world that GRRM has built. Not so crazy about how the showrunners ruined it. But GRRM has created something amazing.

I have two historical based stories plotted out. I've never written historical before and to be fair they are more historical/fantasy. I also have a vampire story planned and a story where people who are in debt are placed in debtors programs but it's really a form of slavery in modern days.

I find ideas can come from the oddest places. One book I wrote (that will soon be released) is about the son of a man who was a serial killer. I got the idea from a conversation with my mother - we are both true crime fans and we had just watched show on ID (I can't recall which program) and my mom commented on how she felt sorry for the families of the victims, but she also felt sorry for the kids of the killer, because they had to grow up knowing their father had murdered innocent people in cold blood. That comment got me thinking about writing from the view of someone who wants to escape the shadow of his crazed, convicted, serial killer father but finds it nearly impossible. I've actually had several ideas spring from the most random conversations.
