Christina M. Eder My husband and I have gone to the Bahamas. I've taken a 15 day trip to Scotland/Wales/England/Ireland. My Daddy and I took a 9 day Alaskan cruise, but my recent favorite trip is this past Christmas (2020).

Family gatherings were atypical so I drove to a small town in a pocket of poverty to stay at a Hampton Inn for Christmas Eve. Guest count was limited, staff was incredible, it snowed on Christmas Eve (1st time in TN since the '60's!), got a surprise call from someone I've (sadly!) been estranged from. A living Christmas miracle.

I spent 2 nights, 3 days watching Hallmark movies, journaling, reading, walking, reflecting.

I am strongly considering this to become a new Christmas tradition. We can meet family in January to extend the holiday spirit!

Thank you for your question! Christina, Oak Ridge, TN
Christina M. Eder I'm fascinated with fairy tales. I'd like to climb aboard Jack and the Beanstalk's expedition or find Hansel and Gretel's bread crumbs on their trail.
Christina M. Eder I went to Wal-Mart without a mask. I came out infected with viral agitation and contagious weariness.
Christina M. Eder Summer reading is all-year round for me! Where there are books, there is summer. I read one fiction and one non-fiction book to blend learning and leisure.

I just finished Shawn Elizabeth George's non-fiction treasure, "Our Struggles Have Purpose." Currently reading C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity." Fictional read was Matter of Marriage by Debbie Macomber. I began "Seasons of Her Life by Fern Michaels. It's a book that my Mom read while she was on earth. Ironic that my summer read is related to seasons.
Christina M. Eder All books come from walking, drive, writing my observations. Some of the comical happenings are strictly for my entertainment purposes. I've seen some things that people would have to pay me to stay out of the book!
Christina M. Eder I write everything long-hand so I can carry my pen and paper anywhere and everywhere. I love using parks, home studio, my hatchback car, libraries, and waiting rooms as different venues to birth stories and books.
Christina M. Eder I frequently review my "Brainstorms Birthed from Mental Drizzles" folder. This (usually) deters a block before it threatens to become a detour.

Sometimes I'm simply not in the mood to write so I save my favorite coffee or Diet Dr. Pepper as rewards to sit down and write until the beverage is gone.
Christina M. Eder Have an eye like a camera. Write your observations and then invite them to create a story, insight, or sometimes even a comedy routine!
Christina M. Eder Knee Deep, the third book in my FROG book series. I'm waiting for Unthawed: From a Frozen Lily Pad of Life to publish. Anticipated publish date is late spring (2020).
Christina M. Eder I take frequent walks outside or drives. In the 80's, I recorded ideas, lists, thoughts on a mini cassette recorder while I walked. When I drove, I carried it on the front seat of my car (as long as I didn't have a passenger with me!). When I'd get to a light or stop sign, I'd record what thoughts passed the miles.
