ANR Don't quit. I know it feels like no one reads your books and that you're not really reaching anyone but you can't quit. It WILL pay off, you just might not see it yet. But do not give up.
ANR I am currently working on a book of mine called "The Darkest Nights Make the Brightest Stars". I've nicknamed it the "Dark Nights Book" because the title is sort of a mouthful. But I'm working on editing through that, in hopes of getting it published next year.
ANR My grandfather is also an author, and my mother is a freelance historical writer for our local history museum and local newspaper. So I grew up around the art of writing and I saw how well and how deeply it affected people and I wanted to do that. I wanted to cause those difficult to spring feelings to bubble to the surface through my books.
ANR My most recent book, soon-to-be-published book "Girl of Puzzles" was inspired by the world, I suppose that's the short answer. Here's the long one:
I looked around and saw nothing but lust, there was no love. I wanted to write a book, so real and so heartfelt that it could prove you can have love without lust.
