I feel like a fraud and completely unoriginal for saying this but it was in a dream. I saw a very old bridge with guards disappearing from it into thin air and for some reason the image just refused to leave me.

In all honesty I usually just let out a scream, shut the laptop and walk away. I'm trying to be less harsh on myself when I get writer's block but usually if I just allow myself to be frustrated for a moment and then talk through the problem (to myself, it's not weird) I can go back and at least get a few sentences down.
