I would go to the either the Bridgerton World or the End of Everything/Safe Haven Worlds by Christopher Artinian. It seems a strange place to want to visit when I write contemporary romance but I love the zombie and post apocalyptic genre as well. I guess you need to balance life out :)

I am currently working on my 4th book, but the 3rd in this series. It's about two people who have experienced heart break and loss and must deal with their grief together.

My husband was driving me over to the next town to the little cinema to go on a date when the idea for a story set in our little town came to mind and by the time we got there 40 minutes later I'd outlined roughly a series about 7 friends.

Anything can inspire me. The current series I am working on came to me as my husband drove me to the next town over to take me to the movies. It can be something as simple as a drive or a text from my husband or looking at photos of one of my beautiful sisters when she got married. Anything at all can inspire me so I feel it would be a disservice not to follow through xx

As a little girl I knew 3 things I always wanted to be when I grew up.
1. A wife. To a great husband.
2. A mother, I have 4 great kids.
3. A published author.
I wrote in my free time when I wasn't spending those precious hours with my family, I worked shift work in the nursing sector. I suffered 2 work place injuries very close together and when I was told I would never return I knew this was my opportunity to finally take the leapt.
To be honest I wish I had leapt sooner - so my advice is stop saying one day and instead change it to 'today is THE day' xx

I've always had an imagination, always made up stories about people as a kid. I grew up and let adulting take me on a detour of life which meant no writing. I love being able to breath life into stories. I have always believed in happily ever afters, and 5 years ago I met my life partner, I try to write that into each story and hope that I am successful.
Being a writer means I can work around my family, who support my dream of being an author.

I have a couple of music playlists on YouTube that I created and listen to. I also sit down whether at my desk or on my lounge or in my bed and do writing sprints every day. My minimum is at least 3 x 20 minute sprints.
I also either put on a romance movie for the feels or read a gorgeous romance. Sometimes I get lost in what I am reading but it always helps :) xx
