Regina Walker I like seeing the story take shape when it comes to writing novels. As far as my blog or shorter pieces I've written, I like when my writing makes a positive impact on someone's life.
Regina Walker With my eyes closed. Seriously, I open a blank document, clamp my eyes shut, and type for speed, not accuracy. I dump whatever is swimming around in my brain onto a page I am not even looking at. Sometimes I make myself go for a certain amount of time, sometimes I just go until my brain is quiet. Then, I can focus on the writing I want to do because my brain is clear of distractions. I find that writer's block isn't a brick wall, so much as a jumbled line of thoughts that can't untangle themselves without a little help.
