E.D. Lewis Sometimes I try to push through weiter's block, but it doesn't always work and so I just have step away and come back later. Some days writing comes easy while others it does not.
E.D. Lewis That's a difficult one, but I may have to day Narnia. What I would do there? Probably explore, perhaps see if I can get myself involved in some adventure.
E.D. Lewis The scrip-scrap-tapping at my window awoke me every night at twelve o'clock for a week. I often ignored it, but this time when I finally had to look, I saw two of me staring back from outside.
E.D. Lewis Being able to create a world and characters in, getting to know them, and telling their story.
E.D. Lewis Ideas just either present themselves in my head, or I see something and it strikes a cord in me.
E.D. Lewis I love to read Gothic Romance and so I kind if wanted to take a shot at that. I had actually started a novel back in my early days of high school and had the first four chapters written, it was planned to be a large book and was gothic, too, but not quite the same. I picked it up and changed the names, combined characters, cut other ones, and made some other changes, creating something different from what I had already written.
E.D. Lewis Keep writing, no matter what. Read and learn from those writers. Create your voice and style, it can be ever evolving.
E.D. Lewis I am currently working on a YA fantasy/romance and a short story for a special project.
E.D. Lewis I am updating my summer reading list. Now, I have started on Kristin Miller's In Her Shadow, and loving it, but I'm planning for The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, Psycho by Robert Bloch, Eidolon by Jordan L. Hawk, and Gavin and Me by Harry F. Rey. Beyond that, I'm unsure.
