I would love to explore Arrakis, the world created by Frank Herbert in Dune. I would become one of the Fremen, don my stillsuit and go out to ride worms.

Writing comes fairly natural to me. I am inspired by events, people, or the random thoughts that pop into my head. I wrote a poem about a robin and a worm when I saw a robin pluck a worm from the ground one day. As a writer, I love to share what I've written with people to entertain or amuse them.

I have found that joining a writer's guild or group of some type can be inspirational and provide you with insight about writing, editing, and publishing. Another bit of advice: Keep a journal.

I am working on my memoir: Just Me, T.C. as well as a sequel to Shevivor and a couple other projects.

The idea for Shevivor originated with a dream. The dream leads off chapter 36. As Janet survives a bear attack it was important to build the story around her love of the outdoors.
