It felt like the universe paused for a moment, holding its breath. My Japanese friend said comets are omens of change—an idea I brushed aside. But within weeks, some very unexpected things happened.
After someone in my family close to me passed, a series of unexplained events left me questioning the boundaries of eternity. One particularly vivid moment seemed like it was her presence, playfully reminding me she was still around. My boyfriend was there, too, and also noticed these things.
