Ariel Dawn Just write. Don't worry about if you're any good, if people will like what you write, if you know what you're doing.

The hardest part of writing is WRITING. You can't edit a blank page. The most important thing is to get your words on paper. Once they are there, you can polish them, add to them, edit them, change them.

Don't ask yourself what if I'm terrible, what if no one reads my work, what if I fail and I completely suck.

Ask yourself what if I am good? What if people love what I write? What if despite all the what if's I did it ANYWAY?
Ariel Dawn I woke up. There was no coffee left.
Ariel Dawn My Summer Reading List this year is mostly M/M romance, but I also have some trad published books I'd like to catch up on!

Hannah Grace's Ice Breaker, Holly Black's Cruel Prince series, Sarah Cate's Praise, Sierra Simone's Priest, and Katee Roberts Neon Gods are some of the books I've been dying to read! And MAYBE I'll actually read Fourth Wing and ACOTAR!
Ariel Dawn I have always loved vampire romance novels, so naturally it was only a matter of time before I tried to write my own.

In Twilight, Edward says to Bella "what if I'm the bad guy?" and that stuck with me, the entire time I wrote In The Blood. I wanted to ask the question "what if the vampire was the hero? the good guy?" and that's essentially how I came up with In The Blood.
